Hey Folks – We will be meeting at Elsie’s this Thursday!

This month Spenser will be walking us through the SANS Holiday Hack capture the flag event. These challenges are intended for all skill levels. Provided we don’t crash the wifi or some bring your own source of internet, following along online is encouraged! Kali x86 or other x86 linux virtual machine is suggested.

September DC612 – 20th Anniversary Hackers viewing party at MOA

Want to watch the Hackers movie in a theater with a bunch of other hackers? To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release, and thanks to our gracious sponsor Nagios, we have rented out a theater at the Mall of America for a private viewing party on September 10th. The doors will open at 6:30, the movie will begin at 7pm. Admission is free, and the theater has a decent selection of concessions available for purchase. Seating is limited so we are using eventbrite.
